This mantle is getting a fresh coat of paint, along with those amazing glass pane doors. New sconces, fresh wall paint and eventually a new hearth tile, I might never leave.
I'm beyond excited to finally get to introduce this project. I've been dreaming about what I would do to this house for weeks including late-night Pinterest binges, contractor meetings and scouring the internet for the perfect pieces. This phase of a client's project puts me over the moon, so you can only imagine how I'm feeling about my own project.

It's true, we bought a house! As these things go, it's kind of a combination of things we were looking for. Not everything, but a good compromise. Most of the house is in great shape, but there's plenty of room for improvement and projects we plan to tackle.

We've been going through the archives of past projects and this one seemed too good to pass up. We put it together probably three years ago, and it still feels like the perfect design for a first-time apartment. Sometimes I wish I embraced more pink in my single days, because it feels harder to incorporate the older I get. It could be said that my absolute favorite room in the house to design is a bathroom. It feels akin to saying your favorite outfits are pajamas, but I don't even care. Bathrooms are the absolute best. Needless to say, we were thrilled when the client reached out and even more thrilled when they started sharing some ideas about how they wanted the room to look!
