The end of the year always sneaks up on us! So while racing toward the clock strike of midnight on Sunday night, we're taking some time to reflect on the year behind us and plan for what's to come.
We were able to be a part of some fantastic projects this year, including some firsts for us. We tackled several residential projects - a gut renovation of a colorful apartment in gramercy, a laundry room renovation and an outdoor facelift of a previous project. We also collaborated on several e-designs all over, including Los Angeles and Florida.
In addition to some amazing residential projects, we were able to be a part of two amazing projects that were a first for us. In the beginning of 2017, we partnered with Mario Armstrong and The Never Settle Show to bring a set to life for their inaugural live show. We worked with an amazing group of people they brought on board and watched them blaze trails in new ways of media consumption.
We also worked on a complete renovation of a church in upstate New York. We'll be sharing a full project reveal in early 2018, but suffice to say it was an honor to be part of a large collaboration to give this church its first true facelift since it was built in the 1960s. (and the paint was just the beginning of this transformation!) Stay tuned for more on this one!
And the icing on the 2017 cake? A little press! It's always a tiny bit weird and surreal, but we were elated to have our recent laundry room featured in a Houzz.com article. Likewise, it's always fun to share some of our tips with our friends at Apartment Therapy. Stay tuned for more in the new year!
On the personal side, 2017 has been rough and unforgiving. It's been a crazy lesson in patience, balance and giving up control. I suppose that's a constant lesson as an entrepreneur too, so we're taking a deep breath and remaining optimistic about what 2018 will bring. We have some big goals on the personal side too, including some that will overlap with our business goals. Like a rather large purchase that will involve a lot of renovation!

Whether you're one of our loved clients, partners or vendors, or you're just quietly following along on our blog and social channels, thank you! We had our 2018 planning meeting a few weeks ago, and we're pretty excited about all of the things to come in the new year. The first of which will be kicking of a BIG project in Florida next month (FYI, we are ALWAYS in for projects in Florida in January!) We have some things planned for this blog too - more posts, more guest bloggers and some exciting partnerships. So we hope you'll continue with us on the journey.
